On a sunny Sunday in August, Pacific Polo Tour took to the polo fields at Will Rogers State Historic Park once more for the second installment of The Hollywood Cup! Polo fans from across southern California gathered to witness the adrenaline-pumping action of competitive polo in a rustic and relaxed setting. Upon arrival, DJ Just’s upbeat tunes laid the back drop as guests enjoyed refreshing cocktails from Bulleit Bourbon, Hollywood Vodka and Jardesca California Aperitiva, as well as delicious rosé from Whispering Angel and beer from Peroni Nastro Azzurro. Guests also got to swing by the Casamigos Tequila area for an exclusive tequila tasting, tasty cocktail or exciting lounge game. Keeping the crowd happy and well-fed throughout the day, Malbec Argentinean Cuisine - Santa Monica prepared an incredible menu of Argentinian food for guests’ enjoyment.
Before the main match began, Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship gave a special demonstration of the therapeutic horsemanship they provide to children and adults with disabilities. The main match was a heated contest, though Team Malibu ultimately emerged victorious. At the prize ceremony, players were rewarded with a special gift to take home from La Martina, Bulleit Bourbon, and Jardesca.

Los Angeles got a special taste of professional polo at the first ever Hollywood Cup, at Will Rogers State Park. Stylish ladies and gents gathered at the Will Rogers polo fields and enjoyed a delicious mix of handcrafted cocktails from Roca Patrón Tequila, including a DIY Bloody Maria bar, as well as Whispering Angel Rosé and Peroni Nastro Azurro. Guests satisfied their appetites at the Rushed Art Food Truck, and answered their sweet-tooths with scrumptious Patrón-infused ice cream sandwiches and cake-pops shaped like ponies.
The main exhibition match of the day saw two professional polo teams, decked out in stylish La Martina jerseys, go head to head while guests cheered from the sidelines. Adding to the dazzling excitement of the day, guests had the opportunity to get their photos taken at a fun and innovative photo-booth, with a special set designed just for the day. While music from a live DJ kept the energy high, guests stayed on the sidelines enjoying all the fabulous bites, libations and festivities on offer until the day finally wound to a close.
